What is A Ratty & Mole Christmas?
Well, why don't you sit down and get comfortable and I'll tell you all about it.
It all started about a year ago, when a one Ratty and a one Mole met and became fast friends.
We both love Christmas, and creating, and giving, and thought it right to create a place where bloggers (and folks) from all over could come and participate in a Christmas gift swap.
How it works: each of you will receive a name of a random R&M gift swap participant, and then a different R&M Gift Swap participant will receive your name (more details down below).
The name Ratty & Mole came about because the relationship between Ratty & Mole is a most splendid one. So simple and loyal, filled with adventure and wonder, with life and cherishing each day. And Moley and I both would like this gift swap to emulate the very giving, joyful, wonder-filled qualities that the Ratty & Mole relationship has.
So dear reader, we've created a very Ratty & Mole Gift Swap. And we'd just love it if you'd join us in this merrymaking and Christmas giving.

THE REGULATIONS:
- Deadline to enter this Gift Swap is November 28th, 2017.
- Send an email to RMGiftSwap@gmail.com with your:
-Email address (this is for our purposes only and will not be shared)
-Your first and last name
-Be sure to include R&M Christmas in the subject line
- A little hello, and a description of your personality/likes and dislikes, and anything else you think would be helpful in letting a stranger know how to shop for you. Think favorite book and music genres (or specific books and music you'd like to have), hobbies, general interests (do you like traveling? Or flowers? Are you a sports enthusiast? etc). This information will only be shared with your gifter.
- To ensure that all participants get an equitable gift, gifts must be at least $15 in price (or, if handmade, equivalent to that price). Remember, this is Christmastide and spending a bit to gladden someone’s heart is well-worth doing.
- To ensure that all participants actually receive their gift by Christmas (or at least Christmas week), please be sure to post your package by December 16th, 2017. Thank you!
- Your personal information will be shared with no one but the person we have chosen to send you a gift. We will share it with no one else, nor will we use it ourselves for any purpose but to facilitate this gift exchange
- Sadly, international shipping is too costly for allowing international participation. We are sorry to all those who are not US residents!
- If you do not feel able to participate in this gift exchange and to follow up as closely as you can with all the rules, please DO NOT sign up! We want this to run as smoothly and pleasantly for everyone (ourselves included) as possible and for someone to be left without a gift on Christmas morning after having spent much effort selecting a gift for someone else is sad and hurtful.
- On December the 4th of December, we will randomize the list of entrants and email you with the person to whom you are to send a gift. Then visit this post and find your giftee's comment, read up on that person, and begin your plotting!
The most important thing about this Gift Swap is to have loads of fun, be creative, and spread some Christmas cheer.
